Austin McMahon began making jewelry in 2014, inspired by the artisanal philosophy of Japanese jeweller Goro Takahashi, while influenced by the classic shapes and handmade styles found in both Western and Aboriginal cultures. His Vancouver-based studio, Maple, maintains a lineage of handcrafted workmanship, creating rugged heirloom pieces with familiar materials and unexpected themes.

Our inaugural collaboration with Maple features a series of classic signet rings and curb chain pendants made from recycled 925 silver with two unique stone accents that speak to elements of the wings+horns foundation. Flower Stone is native to Vancouver Island and parts of Japan, symbolizing harmony, change, and progress. Rhodonite is a mineral stone found in Northern BC that represents the constant balance of our ties to the past and present, an overarching ethos in the way we design.
