2014 marks the 10th anniversary of wings+horns, and to commemorate our first decade we will be releasing a series of special projects throughout 2014. Our first 10 year anniversary project is the wings+horns x Nanamica x Ace Hotel gore-tex® parka.

A globally respected innovator in technical fashion, Nanamica are also celebrating their 10th anniversary this year. this collaboration is a symbol of our friendship, growth and mutual Japanese roots.

The wings+horns x Nanamica x Ace Hotel gore-tex® parka was designed in collaboration with the Ace Hotel New York, where both wings+horns and Nanamica have hosted annual private exhibitions of their collections. This unique parka, based on Nanamica’s classic ‘cruiser’ jacket, was inspired by the bellmen at the Ace Hotel, and constructed to provide maximum protection and functionality in any weather.

Available in black and charcoal, the wings+horns x Nanamica x Ace Hotel parka is made from a waterproof and breathable (20,000mm/13,500g) 3-layer gore-tex® performance shell. Features include a merino wool lined hood, a special side-arm radio pocket, two chest and hip flap pockets, two welt hip pockets, leather toggles and a locker loop on the back neck. A custom patch on the radio pocket commemorates the ongoing partnership of the three brands involved in this distinct piece.
